The General Directorate of Meteorology has provided forecasts for the weather in various regions of our country. According to the latest information, there will be partly cloudy and slightly cloudy skies with local showers in Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Uşak, Denizli, Isparta, Burdur, Eskişehir, and Hakkari. Thunderstorms are also predicted in these areas. Additionally, thunderstorms are expected in the western districts of Ankara and the southern districts of Bolu.
Temperatures are expected to be 8 to 12 degrees above the seasonal norms throughout the country. Winds will mainly blow from northerly directions, occasionally in moderate force.
Meteorology Advisor Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen mentioned that temperatures will be 7-10 degrees above average in Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, Denizli, and Bilecik. Some regions will experience temperatures over 35 degrees, so people with chronic illnesses and the elderly are advised to take precautions.
The highest temperatures of the day in some provinces are as follows:
– Ankara: 32 degrees with local showers and thunderstorms
– Istanbul: 30 degrees with partly cloudy skies
– Izmir: 36 degrees with partly cloudy and clear conditions
– Adana: 42 degrees with partly cloudy and clear skies
– Antalya: 35 degrees with partly cloudy skies and the possibility of showers
– Samsun: 27 degrees with partly cloudy conditions
– Trabzon: 25 degrees with partly cloudy and clear skies
– Erzurum: 26 degrees with partly cloudy conditions
– Diyarbakır: 39 degrees with partly cloudy and clear skies
