Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Begins Official Visit to Türkiye
In a significant diplomatic event, Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the First Lady of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and President of the General Women’s Union, commenced a three-day official visit to Türkiye. The visit aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between the UAE and Türkiye, particularly in social and humanitarian domains.
Upon her arrival in Istanbul, Sheikha Fatima was warmly received by Emine Erdoğan, the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Emine Erdoğan expressed her heartfelt welcome and commended Sheikha Fatima for her role as a leading global model in societal affairs and humanitarian initiatives.
During their meeting, both women discussed various avenues for collaboration to support women, children, and families in both nations. Emine Erdoğan emphasized the importance of sharing successful strategies and experiences that could enhance social welfare initiatives.

Accompanying Sheikha Fatima on this visit are several distinguished officials, including Sheikh Theyab bin Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Development Affairs and Martyr Family Families Court, and prominent members of the UAE government, such as the Minister of International Cooperation Reem Al Haşimi and Minister of Social Development Shamma Suhail Faris Al Mazrui.
