EMU Signs Cooperation Protocol with Ministry of National Education for Philosophy Group Teaching Certificate Program
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has recently signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of National Education for the implementation of the “Philosophy Group Teaching Certificate Program.” The protocol was signed by EMU Rector Dr. Hasan Kılıç and Murad Aktuğ, Director of the Department of Education and Training.
The main goal of this protocol is to establish the framework for the Philosophy Group Teaching Certificate Program, including details on student admissions, curriculum, exams, evaluation, and graduation conditions for students with TRNC nationality.
During the signing ceremony, EMU Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan, expressed his excitement for the establishment of the program, stating that it is the first of its kind in the TRNC under the leadership of EMU. He emphasized the potential benefits of the program for the education system in the region.
Murad Aktuğ, Director of the Department of Education and Training, highlighted the significance of the program in meeting the requirements for teaching the Philosophy Group, and praised EMU for their contributions to its launch. He noted that the program resolves all the necessary criteria for individuals aiming to become teachers in the field.
Rector Dr. Kılıç emphasized the university’s commitment to collaborating with state institutions to benefit the country, and expressed his belief that the Philosophy Group Teaching Certificate Program will make a significant impact on the education sector. He also expressed hope for continued collaborations in the future and wished for the success of the cooperation protocol.
At the conclusion of the protocol signing, Dr. Kılıç presented a plaque to Murad Aktuğ in recognition of his support for the program. This collaboration between EMU and the Ministry of National Education marks a milestone in enhancing the quality of education in the region.
