EMU Rector Kılıç Meets with Ankara University Rector Ünüvar
EMU and Ankara University Discuss Development of Cooperation
The rectors of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, recently met to discuss the development of cooperation between the two prestigious institutions.
The meeting, which took place at Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus Campus Rectorate, was attended by officials and rectors from both universities. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar highlighted the importance of close cooperation between the two institutions, emphasizing the need for collaboration.
In response, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç expressed his pride in being able to host Ankara University, the first university of the Republic period, and underscored the significance of developing close cooperation with EMU. He also emphasized the aim to enhance relations in various areas and the readiness of EMU to collaborate with Ankara University in all fields.
Following the speeches, administrators and representatives from both universities engaged in discussions to explore areas for expanding the cooperation protocol between the institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç presented Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar with a unique silk cocoon from Cyprus, while Prof. Dr. Ünüvar presented Kılıç with a plaque featuring the Ankara University logo.
The meeting marked a significant step towards strengthening the partnership between EMU and Ankara University, paving the way for enhanced collaboration and mutual benefit between the two esteemed institutions.
