Equipment Checks and Maintenance Work Conducted by Minister Dönmez: Latest Updates
The Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has confirmed that all necessary preparations are in place for the upcoming election day on May 14th. Minister Fatih Dönmez announced that joint efforts are being made with all institutions and organizations to ensure that voters can cast their votes safely.
As part of the preparations, maintenance work has been carried out on the provincial and district vote collection centers, election boards, courthouses, and network elements that power critical points such as airports, party buildings, and the Supreme Election Board.
The ministry has also completed equipment checks on general lighting facilities and generators. All generators have been registered and maintained, and they have been distributed to operation centers in accordance with critical points.
In addition to physical security measures, the ministry has also taken precautions against potential cyber attacks. SCADA and communication infrastructure checks have been made, and support has been requested from the General Directorate of Security for critical areas. Mobile Radio System and Satellite Phone alternatives have been prepared in case of any communication system breakdowns.
The ministry has even created crisis centers and determined the number of breakdown team personnel to be assigned on the election day.
With all of these measures in place, the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is confident that the voting process will be safe and secure for all voters.
