Erbakan calls for Muslim countries to use assets as sanctions against Israel

Fatih Erbakan, Chairman of the New Welfare Party, made a visit to Giresun as part of his series of visits to different regions. Erbakan arrived in Giresun after traveling by land from Samsun and met with party members in the morning. He also spoke to the press at Giresun Castle, expressing his concerns about the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.

Erbakan emphasized that condemning, cursing, or making high-pitched speeches at international platforms is not enough to stop the Israeli terror network. He stated that the only way to prevent further cruelty and massacre is to take concrete actions, such as implementing sanctions. Erbakan highlighted the need for Muslim countries to unite and work together to address the ongoing oppression in Gaza.

The chairman also raised concerns about the broader geopolitical implications of the situation, pointing out that the establishment of a Great State of Israel could potentially impact countries beyond the Middle East. Erbakan emphasized the importance of Muslim countries leveraging their strategic resources, such as oil, natural gas, and water, to exert pressure on the Western world and Israel.

Erbakan stressed that Turkey plays a crucial role in this process and called for a national vision government with the consciousness to take necessary actions. He advocated for the revival of the D-8 and the D-60 goals to ensure that Muslim countries act collectively against oppression.

Additionally, Erbakan clarified that the New Welfare Party does not have any agenda to merge with other parties. He underscored the party’s commitment to continue on its path with its own party program and principles. Erbakan addressed speculations about forming a joint group in Parliament but stated that the party is not considering merging with any other political entity.

After his statements in Giresun, Erbakan visited the Ören Town Municipality in the Eynesil district and later traveled to the Arsin district of Trabzon as part of his ongoing visits to different regions.
