Erdogan to Announce New Investments in Northern Cyprus During Teknofest
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced plans to visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) this weekend to celebrate the completion of various construction projects and to participate in Teknofest, a technology and aerospace festival aimed at fostering innovation among young people.
In a speech delivered after the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex, Erdogan expressed enthusiasm for sharing the achievements of the completed works with the youth at Teknofest. He emphasized the importance of these developments for the community and highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting Turkish Cypriots through new investments and initiatives.
The president also pointed out the ongoing efforts of the Turkish government to maintain a proactive foreign policy, indicating that the visit to Northern Cyprus follows their attendance at the 4th Inter-Government Summit Meeting of Türkiye and Italy, scheduled for today.
Erdogan’s visit is anticipated to strengthen ties between Türkiye and the TRNC, providing a platform for discussing future projects and investments aimed at enhancing the socio-economic landscape of Northern Cyprus.
