European Ambassadors Explore Bayanaul National Park with Kazakh Tourism National Company

ASTANA – The Kazakh Tourism National Company recently organized a special trip to the Bayanaul National Park in the Pavlodar Region for European ambassadors. The envoys were treated to a walking tour of the national park, which included visits to the Konyr Auliye gorge, the Kempirtas (Old Lady Stone) rocks, and the picturesque lakes of Jasybai, Sabyndykol, and Toraigyr.

According to a report by Kazakh Tourism, the ambassadors were introduced to the region’s tourism potential, highlighting its unique natural and cultural attractions. Among the participants in the tour were diplomats from Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, and the European Union. The delegation was led by Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vassilenko.

During the trip, the diplomats were impressed by the natural beauty of Bayanaul and recognized its potential to attract foreign tourists. The Bayanaul National Park has recently been featured in The Astana Times’ ranking of the top 10 destinations in Kazakhstan, thanks to its pristine natural beauty and accessibility.

This is not the first time that European ambassadors have explored Kazakhstan’s natural wonders with Kazakh Tourism. Last year, they visited the Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve in the Akmola Region. These initiatives aim to showcase Kazakhstan’s diverse landscapes and promote the country as a unique tourist destination for international visitors.
