Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf) Kindness Volunteers Organize Event in Support of Gaza Children
The Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf) Kindness Volunteers recently organized an event with the slogan “Support from Cyprus for Gaza Children.” The event took place in Büyük Han in Nicosia and aimed to raise awareness and support for children in Gaza.
The event featured Tanya Kilitkayalı, who represented TRNC in the MasterChef competition held on a TV channel in Turkey. Together with children, treats were prepared and distributed to the public. Additionally, donations collected at the event will be sent to support children in Gaza.
Banners with the slogans “There is no acceptable justification for killing children” and “Every child, Jew, Christian, Muslim is valuable” were displayed at the event, emphasizing the value of every child’s life regardless of their background.
In a statement to TAK regarding the event, İbrahim Benter, General Manager of the Cyprus Foundations Administration, condemned the war crimes in Gaza and emphasized that there is no acceptable justification for killing children. He stressed the importance of upholding humanitarian values and providing the necessary support for children in the region, including access to food, water, and medicine.
Benter expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the event and highlighted the need to shine a light on the ongoing crisis in Gaza. The event served as a reminder of the importance of standing in solidarity with children who are most vulnerable during times of conflict and crisis.
