Experience Art Through Taste

An exciting new exhibition featuring edible pictures made from chocolate chips is set to open on March 27 at the Bartók Béla Boulevard Cultural Gallery and Community Space.

The exhibition, entitled “Ray, baby, love (Sugar, Baby, Love),” will showcase the works of Zsolt Tolnai, also known as Modoglo, a psychotherapist who creates art on social media. His pieces offer a unique perspective on the relationship between art and the psyche, with abstract compositions that transform into figurative forms when viewed from afar.

Using a special grid technique, Tolnai creates colorful and edible artwork using chocolate chips and candy. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to participate in a charity project by contributing to a collaborative painting. The finished piece will be donated to the Cirro-Cumulus Development and Therapy Centre, with proceeds from the sale of the candies supporting the center’s foundation for disadvantaged children.

The exhibition will conclude with a special event on April 6, where visitors can disassemble and consume a portrait of Andy Warhol made from over seven kilograms of candy, created during the event.

Don’t miss the chance to experience this unique blend of art and gastronomy at the upcoming exhibition, where you can taste art in a whole new way.
