
Explore Zala Valley’s Open Courtyards: 100+ Programs to Choose From

A series of summer events organized by 36 family estates in the Zala Valley has kicked off. From July to September, visitors can participate in various activities and learn new skills. Farmers will teach visitors how to make sausage and jam, as well as the art of the Zala sugar pie. Additionally, there are opportunities for horse riding, archery shooting, and quad biking.
On July 8, active holidaymakers with a motorbike license can take part in a Quad-riding herb and adventure tour around the Bezerédi mountain. The following day, visitors can enjoy archery and sample quail egg specialties at the Aktívklub-Zala24 Porta.
The Keszler Estate will host its first informal wine tasting event on August 2. Participants will have the opportunity to taste and purchase traditional artisanal butchery products without additives and bain-marie at the Sümegcseh Kondás Estate.
The Open Courtyard program includes wine and brandy tastings, Mangalica pork and beef afternoons, lavender and fruit harvests, and interactive performances. Horse riding is also available for those keen to explore the valley. Visitors are encouraged to check the event page for a complete list of activities.
