“Our Sweet Little Village” in Csömör, near Budapest, showcases snow-covered streets, bridges, and even a local suburban railway made of gingerbread. Open on weekends in December, this exhibit is a heartwarming example of community creativity.
For over a decade, Geresdlak in southern Hungary has presented a sprawling gingerbread village with over 200 buildings. This exhibit, open by appointment during working hours, features iconic sites and offers an immersive festive experience for a small entry fee.
Ercsi, in central Hungary, hosts a Gingerbread Town exhibition at the Eötvös József House of Culture, showcasing community imagination through elaborate festive designs. Gyál, near Budapest, displays heartwarming creations crafted by local families at the Arany János Community House and Municipal Library.
