Exploring India’s Cultural Heritage: A Eurasian Delegation’s Journey

A delegation of journalists from Eurasian countries including Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan recently undertook a Familiarization Visit to New Delhi and Hyderabad from June 22 to 29. The purpose of this visit was to immerse themselves in India’s rich heritage and vibrant culture.

In New Delhi, the delegation explored significant historical sites such as the National Museum, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutb Minar. They also visited Agra to witness the stunning Taj Mahal, a masterpiece of Mughal art and architecture. These sites are all recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The delegation met with various organizations in India, including ReNew, a decarbonization solutions provider, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organization. They also engaged with government representatives and visited prominent institutions such as the Press Trust of India and the Indian School of Business.

In Hyderabad, the delegation visited Golconda Fort and Shilparamam, experiencing the blend of tradition and innovation in the city. They also toured Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Skyroot Aerospace, T-Hub, and concluded their trip with a visit to Ramoji Film City, the world’s largest film studio complex.

The delegation was impressed by India’s diverse cultural heritage and expressed a desire to explore more of the country’s unique traditions and local mystique. The visit left a lasting impression on the journalists, showcasing the deep-rooted history and modern advancements of India.
