Kyrenia American University Celebrates Children’s Day with Heartfelt Visit
Kyrenia American University (GAU) recently organized a meaningful visit to the Tangül Ünal Çağıner Sevgi Houses, an initiative led by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security Department of Social Services. The event, which took place in honor of April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, involved students and academicians from GAU, including members of the GAU Cinema Club, Faculty of Education’s Preschool Teaching and Music Department, and the Social Contribution Activities Committee.
As part of the visit, GAU’s Preschool Teaching students crafted special gifts for the children, aiming to bring joy and warmth to their lives. The delegation was graciously received by Osman Karamanlı, the Director of the Children’s Love House, who expressed appreciation for the positive impact such visits have on the children’s well-being. He highlighted the importance of raising awareness and fostering social solidarity in society.

Prof. Dr. Oya Ertuğruloğlu, the rector of GAU and Dean of the Faculty of Education, affirmed that social benefit is at the heart of the university’s mission.
