
Extreme Cold Weather Causes Eyebrows and Eyelashes to Freeze, Vehicles Fail to Start

The freezing temperatures in Ardahan have caused multiple issues for residents, as the temperature dropped to 23.3 degrees below zero at night. Vehicles, door locks, and workplace windows have all been frozen due to the extreme cold. In fact, the lowest temperature in the region was recorded at minus 27.1 degrees in the Göle district.
Sinan Onay, a resident of Ardahan, expressed concern over the negative impact of the freezing cold on daily life. He stated, “Many people’s vehicles are not working in Ardahan due to the intense cold that has persisted for about a week now. Despite the challenges, life in Ardahan continues. However, we urge the government to provide additional support to help alleviate the effects of the extreme weather conditions in our region.”
As residents of Ardahan continue to face the harsh winter weather, the community remains resilient in coping with the challenges brought on by the freezing temperatures.
