Renowned Turkish folk singer Edip Akbayram was laid to rest in a funeral ceremony held at Teşvikiye Mosque following his passing at the Health Sciences University Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. The funeral was attended by his wife Ayten Akbayram, daughter Türkü Akbayram, and numerous guests from the music and entertainment industry.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu expressed his condolences, describing Edip Akbayram as “one of the plane trees of Turkish music.” Many artists and celebrities also paid tribute to the late singer, praising his contributions to Turkish music and his impact on the industry.

Following the funeral prayer, Edip Akbayram was laid to rest at Karacaahmet Cemetery, marking the end of an era for Turkish music and mourning the loss of a true legend. His memory and contributions to music will continue to inspire future generations of artists.
