Fatal Accident in Kızılcahamam: Mother and Daughter Killed, 2 Injured
A tragic accident took place in Ankara’s Kızılcahamam district, resulting in the loss of lives of a mother and daughter. The incident occurred when an out-of-control car rolled over, leading to the deaths of Durkız Akbaş and Filiz Akbaş Özü Doğru. Filiz Akbaş Özü Doğru’s husband, Murat Özü Doğru, who was driving the vehicle, and their child sustained injuries in the accident.
The tragic event unfolded in the evening hours in Kızılcahamam Akdoğan village. The vehicle, with plate number 06 CYE 695, was being driven by Murat Özü Doğru from Ankara to Kızılcahamam when he lost control of the steering wheel, causing the car to roll over. Upon receiving reports from bystanders, emergency services including health, fire brigade, and gendarmerie teams rushed to the scene to assist. Medical personnel confirmed the untimely passing of Durkız Akbaş at the site of the accident. Murat Özü Doğru, along with his wife and child, were swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Filiz Akbaş Özü Doğru succumbed to her injuries at Kızılcahamam State Hospital.
