Fatal Chain Collision in Bursa: 1 Fatality, 7 Injured
Four cars collided on the Istanbul-Izmir Motorway in the Orhangazi area, resulting in injuries to 8 people. Emergency Health and Gendarmerie teams were quick to respond to the scene of the accident. The individuals involved, identified as S. B, Eh K, A. Ç. and E. Ç., were taken to Orhangazi and Gemlik State Hospitals for treatment.
Tragically, despite medical interventions, one of the injured individuals, Ehk, succumbed to their injuries. The accident caused a complete stop in traffic on the highway, but after the vehicles were cleared from the road, normal traffic flow resumed after approximately 1 hour.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision and remind all drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such accidents in the future. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
