Fatal Collision: Ambulance Overturns After Crashing with Car
Ambulance Collides with Car in Aydın, Resulting in Fatal Accident
An ambulance transporting 84-year-old Fatma Gümüş to Adnan Menderes University Hospital in Aydın was involved in a tragic accident. The ambulance, driven by TK, collided with a car and overturned at the Izmir Boulevard Maternity Hospital Junction.
Authorities were quick to respond to the scene, with police, health, and fire brigade teams arriving promptly. Despite the efforts of the medical team, it was determined that Fatma Gümüş had unfortunately passed away.
In addition to the loss of Fatma Gümüş, the ambulance driver TK, healthcare workers AP and AHÖ, and a patient relative named EG were injured in the accident. They were swiftly taken to Atatürk State Hospital for treatment.
Thankfully, it was reported that the injuries sustained by the individuals involved in the accident were not life-threatening. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the dangers emergency responders face while carrying out their duties.
