Motorcycle Accident in Izmir results in Fatality
A tragic accident involving a worker shuttle bus and a motorcycle occurred in front of the Cumhuriyet Mahallesi Anadolu Caddesi İŞKUR building in Izmir, Turkey. The accident happened around 1:00 AM and resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.
According to reports, the worker shuttle bus, with license plate 35 S 02244, collided with a motorcycle, with the license plate 35 BMY 175, under the administration of Çağan Hür. The motorcycle was coming from the opposite direction and attempting to make a turn.
As a result of the collision, Hür was thrown from his motorcycle and dragged for meters. The police team, notified by surrounding citizens, arrived at the scene and ensured road safety. Paramedics quickly intervened and took Hür to Izmir Çiğli Training and Research Hospital, but unfortunately, he could not be saved despite medical intervention.
After the accident, the motorcycle was removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck. The driver of the worker shuttle bus, identified as MK, was detained by the police and taken into custody. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
