Fatal collision in Kütahya: 3 dead, 2 injured in car crash
A Tragic Accident at Murat Mountain Junction
A devastating accident occurred at the Murat Mountain Junction on the Gediz-Uşak Highway, involving two cars and resulting in multiple casualties. The incident took place when a car driven by Sedat Öztürk, traveling from Uşak to Gediz, collided with the vehicle driven by Mehmet Kocabaş, who was attempting to make a turn at the intersection.
Upon receiving notification from nearby witnesses, health and police teams rushed to the scene. Medical professionals discovered that Habibe Kocabaş, a passenger in Mehmet Kocabaş’s car, had tragically lost her life as a result of the collision.
Both drivers, Mehmet Kocabaş and Sedat Öztürk, along with passengers Mustafa Cirit and his wife İmiş Cirit, were promptly transported to Gediz State Hospital for urgent medical treatment following initial first aid at the accident site.
Despite the doctors’ efforts, Mustafa Cirit and İmiş Cirit succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. The other injured individuals were reported to be in critical conditions, fighting for their lives.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine the cause and prevent such tragedies in the future. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
