Fatal Collision in Samsun: 3 Vehicles Involved, 1 Fatality and 2 Injured
A tragic traffic accident occurred in Samsun’s Çarşamba district, resulting in the death of one person and leaving two others seriously injured. The incident took place at the 50th kilometer of the Samsun-Ordu highway, specifically at the Karaağaç location.
According to reports, the pickup truck with plate number 55 AEU 514, driven by Sedef Taflan, veered out of control and collided with an electric pole in the median. Subsequently, the pickup truck crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a tow truck bearing plate number 33 DY 810 and a trailer with plate number 33 AKC 115, both driven by Doğan Y. Additionally, a car with plate number 55 AJK 444, operated by Ali A., crashed into the roadside barrier while trying to avoid the fallen electric pole.
Tragically, the pickup truck driver, Sedef Taflan, lost their life at the scene of the accident. The two individuals, identified as Talha Osman T. and Yekta T., sustained severe injuries and were promptly transported to Çarşamba State Hospital for medical treatment.
