
Fatal Fire at Ataşehir Hotel Claims 3 Lives

A tragic incident occurred in Ataşehir, Istanbul, as a fire broke out in a 3-storey hotel, resulting in the loss of 3 lives and leaving 2 others injured.
The fire started in the kitchen area on the minus first floor of the hotel located on Üsküdar Street in Ferhatpaşa District around 03.30. Those who noticed the smoke rising from the building immediately alerted the fire brigade, health, and police teams.
Upon their arrival, the teams sprang into action to rescue individuals trapped inside the burning hotel and to extinguish the flames. Firefighters were able to rescue 5 people from the building, with 3 individuals suffering from severe burns and 2 others affected by smoke inhalation. They were promptly given first aid on-site before being transported to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
Unfortunately, despite receiving life-saving treatment, the three severely injured individuals succumbed to their injuries. The cause of the fire, suspected to have originated in the kitchen area, has been brought under control and fully extinguished by the responding teams.
An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact circumstances that led to this tragic event. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident.
