Fatal Fire Breaks out at Uludağ Hotel at Last Minute
According to reports, a tragic incident occurred in the Uludağ region as a fire broke out in a hotel, resulting in the death of one person. The incident took place during the period of the Simple Accommodation Certificate in the Hotels Region, and the allocation process in the National Parks had not yet identified the hotel for a business license.
The hotel was quickly evacuated, with Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey confirming that all guests were safely removed from the building. Tragically, one person lost their life in the fire.
Three hotel officials were affected by smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The hotel has since been closed following the incident.
Initial investigations into the cause of the fire revealed that it originated from a barbecue on the patio, which quickly spread and engulfed the top area of the building. The person who lost their life was reportedly trying to retrieve personal belongings when the fire broke out.
