Tragic Fire Incident in Naushki, Balochistan Claims Lives
A devastating fire erupted from a fuel tanker in the Naushki region of Balochistan, leading to a catastrophic explosion during an emergency response. Police officer Atta Ullah confirmed the incident, which resulted in the loss of multiple lives, including the driver and several firefighters.
As firefighters attempted to control the blaze, the tanker exploded, claiming the lives of at least several individuals and injuring around 56 others. Reports indicate that some of the injured are in critical condition, prompting authorities to transfer certain patients to a Karachi hospital via air for more advanced medical care.
Waseem Baig, a spokesperson for the civil hospital in Quetta, expressed deep concern over the grave condition of several victims, highlighting the urgent need for specialized treatment.
In the aftermath of this tragedy, Balochistan’s Prime Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the civil hospital to assess the situation. He urged medical staff to provide the highest standard of care for the injured, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting victims during this difficult time.
