Fatal Israeli Attacks Leave 73 Palestinians Dead

Israeli forces continue their massacres in Gaza, as reports show that 9 people from the same family lost their lives in the latest attack carried out by the Israeli army in the Shucaiyye district of Gaza city. In the past 24 hours, a total of 57 Palestinians were killed and many others were left injured due to Israel’s relentless assaults on various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Tragedy struck when an air attack on 3 houses in the eastern and central parts of the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of 16 individuals and left many more wounded. The official Palestinian agency WAFA reported that medics from the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the deaths of 9 individuals from the same family after an Israeli army warplane targeted the house of the Farhat family in the Al-Shucaiyye neighborhood. The deceased were extracted from the rubble of the house and taken to Ehli Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
In separate incidents, an Israeli army aerial bombing on the house of the Al-Jamel family in the An-Nusayrat Refugee Camp claimed the lives of 3 individuals, including a child, and caused multiple injuries. Similarly, in the Al-Burayj Refugee Camp, a total of four people, including a child, perished as a result of an Israeli warplane targeting the house of the Al-Khalidi family with an air strike.
Moreover, Israel’s aggression has extended to hospital facilities in Gaza, as the Israeli army demanded the evacuation of three hospitals in the northern region of the Gaza Strip. This action led to heightened tensions, with soldiers surrounding Kemal Advan Hospital and opening fire on the management office. Israeli soldiers allegedly issued threats of destruction, death, and arrests, reminiscent of past actions at Şifa Hospital.
Amidst escalating violence, the government in Gaza issued a firm refusal to Israel’s evacuation threats, denouncing them as unjustifiable. The Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza decried the Israeli army’s massacre in the northern region and highlighted the dire humanitarian situation exacerbated by the strict blockade.
The ominous atmosphere in the region has prompted international condemnation, with the United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Alsalem, characterizing the situation as entailing “reproductive violence.”
In a continuation of Israeli aggression, seven Palestinians, including one woman, suffered injuries in attacks in the occupied West Bank. Reports revealed that Israeli forces targeted a house in Akaba town, Tubas city, with an anti-tank rocket, although details regarding the occupants’ safety remain uncertain. Eyewitnesses noted the arrival of new Israeli military reinforcements to the area, signaling ongoing tensions and potential further violence in the region.
