Fatal Traffic Accident in Ardahan Leaves 1 Dead and 11 Injured
A traffic accident in Ardahan resulted in 12 people being injured, with one person losing their life. The incident occurred at the Aşık Şenlik Tunnel junction on the Çıldır-Aşık Şenlik highway, involving cars whose drivers could not be identified.
Following the collision, emergency response teams including the Gendarmerie, AFAD, and health personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. An AFAD team worked to rescue an individual who was trapped in one of the vehicles.
Out of the 12 injured individuals, two were in critical condition and were rushed to Ardahan State Hospital and Çıldır District State Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, one of them, identified as G.Ş., could not be saved despite the medical intervention.
