Fatalities in Israel’s Attacks on Gaza Now at 48,515
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has provided updates on the casualties and injuries resulting from the recent attacks by the Israeli army following the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas on January 19th.
Within the past 24 hours, 12 individuals have been admitted to hospitals with severe injuries, while the lifeless bodies of 14 others have also been recovered. Despite the ceasefire agreement, seven people have tragically lost their lives in the attacks, with five funerals already taking place for those who did not survive.
The total number of Palestinians who have lost their lives in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has now risen to 48,515, with 111,941 individuals sustaining injuries. Despite the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas, Israel has continued to violate the ceasefire by launching further attacks in Gaza.
The situation remains precarious, with innocent civilians continuing to suffer the devastating consequences of the ongoing conflict in the region.
