Father of Missing Climber on Mount Everest Sends Heartbreaking Message

Father of Missing Hungarian Climber Leaves Emotional Message as Hope Fades
As a rescue mission makes its way to the stranded Hungarian climber, Szilárd Suhajda on Mount Everest, hopes for his safe return are fading. The concerned father, Tibor Suhajda, has left an emotional message for his son asking him to concentrate on his survival, holding out hope that his son will return home soon, safe and well for his little grandson. An update on Szilárd Suhajda’s social media page reads that the situation remains unclear, and the sherpas are still searching in the direction where he was last seen. Suhajda was reportedly suffering from mountain sickness (AMS) when he was last seen not far from the summit and did not have an oxygen mask. Hungary is watching anxiously for news of the rescue and is praying for their own Szilárd Suhajda’s safe return.
