Fatih Erbakan Criticizes Felicity Party for Exploiting Necmettin Erbakan’s Name
Welfare Party Leader Fatih Erbakan has announced that his party will be entering the upcoming elections and is open to making alliances for the benefit of the country and the nation. However, he emphasized that any alliance must be based on their basic principles that they have been promoting for years. Erbakan also revealed that the party has already received 70,000 signatures in support of its principles just three days after making the announcement.
The Welfare Party has since joined the People’s Alliance after signing a memorandum of understanding with the AK Party. Erbakan reiterated that the goal of their alliance is to bring the national view to parliament in a powerful way and that the party will be working in full unity according to party discipline.
In response to criticisms from the Saadet Party about their alliance, Erbakan stated that it is wrong to compare their alliance with the coalition made by Necmettin Erbakan. He argued that the Felicity Party continues to use Erbakan’s name and supports the transfer of the CHP mentality to power. Erbakan also accused the Felicity Party of deliberately distorting the issue of subject 6284 for political gain and emphasized the importance of protecting women and families from violence.
Erbakan ended his speech by stating that he sees a great recovery in the field and that polls indicate that the real People’s Alliance is ahead while the Table of 7 loses votes.
