Finalized Candidates Announced by Supreme Election Board
Turkey’s Supreme Election Board has released the final list of candidates for the Parliamentary and Local Organization Bodies by-elections scheduled for June 25, 2023. The list includes candidates from various parties and independent candidates for parliamentary and mukhtar posts. The YSK has declared that some candidates have already been elected due to the equal or less number of people or persons required for the post. The candidates for the headman position in Nicosia Yenicami District are Mehmet Soft, Adnan Getirmez, Mehmet Çamır, and Selim Özdemir. Hasan Akkus, Şermin Kasap, Hasan Korkmaz, Nezaket Çebi, Murat Akgün, Nagihan İlktaç, and Tahir Alşan are also candidates for various positions. The YSK has urged voters to participate actively in the upcoming elections and choose the right candidate for a better future.
