Finance Minister Berova Meets with KIU Delegation
Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova Hosts Cyprus Science University Delegation
Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova recently welcomed a delegation from the Cyprus Science University (KİU) to discuss the university’s activities and potential collaboration opportunities.
During the reception, Assoc. Dr. Yalın Kılıç, a faculty member of the Department of Educational Administration, along with Assist. Assoc. Dr. Niusha Eivazzadeh, Head of the Marketing Department, and Filiz Çakar, the TRNC Promotion Unit Supervisor, briefed Minister Berova on the university’s ongoing initiatives.
The KIU delegation expressed their readiness to contribute to the strengthening of public administration within the country, highlighting the new Master’s program in “Public Finance” as part of their efforts to support the country’s Development Plan.
The meeting also focused on discussing the challenges and potential solutions in higher education, with an emphasis on the need for greater cooperation to elevate the quality of higher education in the country.
Minister Berova underscored the economic, social, and cultural significance of universities in the nation’s development, stressing the importance of maintaining the quality of education and the role of higher education institutions in producing scientific knowledge and cultivating qualified professionals to shape the future of society.
