Fire at Manisa Pallet Factory
A fire broke out at a pallet factory in the Keresteciler Sitesi in the Koşukiri district of Turgutlu, Manisa, causing extensive material damage.
The incident occurred around 11:00 pm last night in Turgutlu. Citizens in the area noticed smoke rising from Ali E.’s pallet factory located at Turgutlu Koşukırı Çarşısı Keresteciler Sitesi No 216 and immediately alerted emergency services. Firefighters, police, and medical teams quickly responded to the scene. It was determined that a transformer explosion ignited the fire, which was swiftly extinguished by the fire brigade. Electrical company teams arrived to cut off electricity in the vicinity and support the cooling efforts of the firefighters. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but significant material damage was sustained at the factory.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the extent of the damage and the next steps to be taken.
