“Turkish Cities Welcome New Year with First Babies of 2024”
The new year was welcomed in various cities across Turkey, with Hatay, Adana, Konya, Mardin, Bingöl, and Elazığ all celebrating the arrival of the first babies of 2024. The beginning of the new year brought bundles of joy to several families as they welcomed new additions to their households.
In Hatay, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca announced the birth of the first baby of the new year at Hatay Defne State Hospital. The newborn, named Muhammet Talha, brought joy to his parents, Fethiye and Adem. Both parents expressed their gratitude and happiness, especially after facing difficulties following the recent earthquakes in the region.
Similarly, in Kayseri, a baby girl named Ceylin was born at the Kayseri City Hospital Gynecology and Pediatrics Polyclinic. Parents, Kezban and Oğuz Alkan, were overjoyed with the healthy arrival of their second child, expressing their hopes for a peaceful and bright new year for all children.
Adana City Training and Research Hospital welcomed the birth of the first baby of 2024, named Masal, to parents Ayşe and Emrah Çelik. The couple expressed their satisfaction with the hospital’s staff and facilities, highlighting their appreciation for the medical support received during the birthing process.
In Konya, a baby girl named Dr. Ali Kemal was born at Belviranlı Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital, bringing immense joy to the Uyanık couple, who celebrated the arrival of their third child after 22 years of marriage. The newborn and her mother were reported to be in excellent health.
In Mardin, Bingöl, and Elazığ, several babies were welcomed into the world, each being given unique names and celebrated with gifts and well-wishes from prominent local officials. The birth of these new arrivals has brought hope and happiness to families and communities, setting a positive tone for the start of the new year.
