Five People Injured in Horrific Anatolian Highway Crash
A chain collision involving 4 cars occurred at the Anatolian Highway Sakarya Ditch crossing, Esentepe location, in the direction of Istanbul. The accident resulted in 5 people being injured, who were promptly taken to hospitals in Sakarya and Düzce by ambulances.
As a consequence of the collision, 2 lanes of the road had to be closed to traffic for safety reasons. The closure caused traffic on the road, reduced to a single lane, to be congested for approximately 2 hours. Normal traffic flow resumed once the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene.
