Floral Tribute and Music Instruments Honor Slain Street Musician in Turkey
Friends and locals in Kadıköy, Istanbul, are mourning the loss of Cihan Aymaz, a street musician who was tragically killed in a recent incident. Mehmet Yıldız, a photographer from Kadıköy, spoke of the kindness and peaceful nature of Aymaz. “He was a very good person, he was just here for his bread. He wouldn’t interfere with anyone. When the boy who asked for a piece said he couldn’t play, he stabbed him,” Yıldız said. Many are left wondering how such a tragic incident could have occurred, and why someone would resort to violence towards a seemingly innocent and harmless individual.
