Forced Migration: Palestinians Flee South Due to Israeli Army Violence

Israeli Army Intensifies Attacks on Gaza, Targeting Schools and Civilians
The Israeli Army has intensified its attacks on the Gaza region, targeting schools and civilians in the area. In a recent announcement by Israeli Army spokesman Avichay Adraee, it was revealed that the old city of Gaza, Tel al-Ahava, Sabra neighborhoods, and Palestinians in the Zeytun neighborhood were all marked as potential targets on a shared map.
Adraee warned of violent attacks on the region, calling it the “last warning” and urging Palestinians to relocate to the al-Mevasi region of Han Yunus city in the south. Despite these warnings, the Israeli Army proceeded with air strikes on Gaza, resulting in the death of 31 Palestinians, including children who had sought refuge in the city.
Furthermore, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced an expansion of attacks in the Gaza Strip, breaking the ceasefire that had been in place. The Israeli Army has been targeting hospitals, housing centers, and the tents of displaced Palestinians, leaving approximately 50,000 lives lost since October 7, 2023.
The ongoing attacks have led to a humanitarian disaster in Gaza, with nearly 90 percent of the population displaced at least once since the conflict began. The prevention of humanitarian aid to Gaza has only exacerbated the situation, leaving displaced Palestinians struggling to survive amidst the devastation.
As the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, the international community is urged to intervene and put an end to the violence, ensuring the safety and well-being of civilians in the region.
