Foreign Graduates from 4 Continents Celebrate Graduation at Budapest’s BME
135 graduates from four continents and more than 30 countries recently received their diplomas at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). The international graduation ceremony was a celebration of the hard work and dedication of these students, who have completed English-language courses in a variety of fields.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the speech given by successful businessman István Lam, who praised BME for its role in his career. Lam, who founded a cryptography company while studying at BME, emphasized the importance of the network, ambition, and drive that students gain from attending the university.
In his address to the graduates, Vice-Rector for International Affairs András Nemeslaki highlighted the legacy of BME and the responsibility that the graduates now carry as they enter the workforce.
