In a Facebook post, Szijjártó shared that he had spoken with Timco Mucunski, his North Macedonian counterpart, and offered Hungary’s assistance in providing transportation and medical care to the 19 individuals who were injured in the fire.

Prime Minister Orbán also weighed in on the situation, stating that North Macedonia should already be a member of the European Union.
