Foreign Ministry responds to statements by Israeli Foreign Minister Katz

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to a recent social media post made by Israeli Foreign Minister Katz with a strong statement. The Ministry condemned Katz for making “disrespectful, false, and slanderous statements” in his post.
In the statement, Turkey called on Israel to immediately cease its oppressive actions in Gaza. The Ministry accused the Israeli Government of prolonging its time in power by committing atrocities against innocent Palestinians, leading to unrest and instability in the region. Turkey emphasized the need for Israel to end its oppression in Gaza and to agree to a permanent ceasefire.
Turkey reaffirmed its commitment to defending the rights of Palestinians in the face of Israeli aggression. The statement was issued in response to a slanderous and insulting post made by Katz on social media, targeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The ongoing conflict in Gaza remains a pressing issue, and Turkey’s stance against Israeli oppression continues to be unwavering. The Ministry’s statement serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding human rights and promoting peace in the region.
