Forest Fire in Manisa Devastates 3 Hectares of Land

A forest fire broke out in the rural Çampınar District Arap Creek location around 15:00, causing concern among villagers as flames and smoke rose from the area. The quick response of the villagers, who brought water with tankers and notified the 112 Emergency Call Center, helped contain the fire until the arrival of fire brigade and forestry teams.

The teams worked tirelessly to combat the fire, which spread over 3 hectares of land, using 14 water trucks, 4 fire trucks, 2 planes, and 3 helicopters. After approximately 5 hours of intense effort, the fire was brought under control, and cooling operations continued until around 21:00.
