Construction worker, Halil İbrahim Öksüz, has gone missing after leaving a note asking for forgiveness and saying, “Don’t build my grave. Forgive me.” The disappearance of Öksüz has left his family and friends distraught as they search for answers.
On September 22, Öksüz disappeared from the Kumluca district of Antalya, leaving behind only a napkin with a heartfelt message. His mother, Özlem Öksüz, who resides in Kumluca, shared her fears about her son’s well-being, expressing concern that he may harm himself.
According to his family, Öksüz had been struggling emotionally and had recently confided in his mother about his inner turmoil. He expressed feelings of guilt and sadness, reflecting on past traumas and personal struggles that weighed heavily on his mind.
Despite efforts from authorities to track his phone signal, Öksüz’s whereabouts remain unknown. His family, including his siblings Batuhan Öksüz and Feride Ayav, are desperate for any news about his safety and well-being. They discovered a note written by Öksüz indicating his distress and feelings of regret.
Security camera footage from the last market Öksüz visited has been reviewed in hopes of finding clues to his whereabouts. The community is urged to come forward with any information that may lead to the safe return of Halil İbrahim Öksüz, as his loved ones continue to pray for his safe return.
