Former Head of Migration Service Appointed New Chairman of SCRMET
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has recently dismissed Begench Charyev from his position as the chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. This decision was made due to shortcomings in Charyev’s work.
Taking Charyev’s place is Batyr Volsakhatov, who has previously held the position of head of the State Migration Service since February of this year. Volsakhatov will now assume the role of the head of the SCRMET.
As a result of this rotation, the temporary duties of the head of the Migration Service will be carried out by Amanmuhammet Sazakov, who is currently serving as the deputy head of the department.
During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, President Berdimuhamedov signed documents announcing these personnel reshuffles. This meeting also served as an opportunity to assess the results of the past six months.
