Accident on D-100 Highway: Drunk Driver Causes Multiple Injuries
A serious accident occurred on the D-100 Highway in the direction of Ankara when the driver, Ramazan T., lost control of the steering wheel, resulting in a collision with iron railings and a taxi. The impact caused injuries to the driver and passengers in the car, as well as damage to a nearby service minibus.
The police and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they attended to the injured and transported them to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, no passengers were present in the minibus at the time of the accident, preventing any potential injuries. However, the minibus did sustain significant damage from the collision with the iron guardrails.
During their investigation, the police discovered that the driver, Ramazan T., had a blood alcohol content of 1.38 promil. This finding suggests that drunk driving was a significant factor in the accident.
Following the accident, the car and taxi were towed from the scene, and the authorities launched an investigation into the incident. The reckless behavior of the drunk driver resulted in multiple injuries and significant damage to vehicles and infrastructure.
