The Erzurum Provincial Police Department recently conducted a successful operation to capture a wanted individual attempting to escape on horseback. The suspect, identified as H.Ç., had a lengthy prison sentence of 14 years and 11 days for various crimes including aggravated robbery and escape from custody.
The operation, carried out with the help of Intelligence, Aviation, Special Operations, and Karaçoban District Police Department teams, utilized an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to track down the fugitive in Karaçoban. H.Ç. was swiftly apprehended and taken into custody.
