Full Budget to be Voted on at General Assembly
Budget discussions at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) are coming to an end after starting on December 9th. The discussions will conclude today, paving the way for the General Assembly to continue its work uninterrupted.
Following the budget discussions, the General Assembly will shift its focus to the Bill on Amendments to the Civil Servants Law and Certain Laws and Decree Laws. This bill includes regulations regarding civil servants and will be discussed starting on Tuesday, December 24th.
In the upcoming weeks, the General Assembly will also consider the Bill on Amending the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law and Some Laws. This bill includes proposals to cancel the collection of unpaid General Health Insurance (GSS) premiums dated before January 1, 2015, as well as regulations on family medicine.
Additionally, group meetings of the political parties with representation in the Parliament will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to discuss various matters.
As the budget discussions wrap up and new bills are brought to the forefront, the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye continues its legislative work to address important issues affecting the country.
