Fundraising Event in Alsancak to Provide Electric Beds for Cancer Patients
Cancer Patients Aid Association Tulips organized a special event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event, held at Alsancak National Park, was attended and supported by Sibel Tatar, the wife of President Ersin Tatar.
The main objective of this event, organized by the Cancer Patients’ Aid Association Tulips team of foreigners living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), was to raise funds for the purchase of electric beds for cancer patients.
Raziye Kocaismail, the President of Cancer Patients’ Aid Association Tulips, expressed her gratitude to Bellapais İnner Wheel and Sibel Tatar for their support. She also mentioned that Önder Shopping Center contributed to the cause by donating 34,000 TL, which enabled the purchase of two electric patient beds.
Berrin Avunduk, the President of Bellapais Inner Wheel, also mentioned their support for the campaign as an association. They donated 10,000 TL on behalf of the association.
In her speech, Sibel Tatar thanked Raziye Kocaismail for her assistance to cancer patients. She emphasized the undeniable contribution and support provided by the Cancer Patients’ Aid Association Tulips. She further highlighted the importance of their presence and expressed her gratitude for their efforts.
The funds raised from the event, which also featured a musical concert, will be utilized to purchase electric beds for cancer patients. This initiative aims to provide comfort and support to individuals battling cancer.
