Northern Cyprus Turkcell Focuses on Accessibility for Disabled Individuals
A recent meeting between Labor and Social Security Minister Sadık Gardiyanoğlu and Northern Cyprus Turkcell General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir highlighted the telecom company’s commitment to accessibility for disabled individuals.
During the meeting, Küçüközdemir announced that Northern Cyprus Turkcell has added an accessibility menu to all its websites to cater to the needs of disabled individuals and users with special needs in the digital environment. As part of the upcoming Disabled People Week from May 10 to 16, the company will be launching this initiative for the first time on the island. Minister Gardiyanoğlu commended the efforts of Northern Cyprus Turkcell and expressed gratitude for their social responsibility projects.
Gardiyanoğlu stressed the importance of creating applications that make it easier for disabled individuals to navigate the digital world, regardless of their type of disability. He thanked Northern Cyprus Turkcell officials for their dedication to this cause.
