Gaza Civil Defense: Majority of Equipment and Vehicles Out of Service

The Civil Defense Organization in Gaza faces challenges due to attacks and fuel shortage
The Civil Defense Organization in Gaza recently released a statement highlighting the difficulties they have been facing for over 300 days due to attacks and a shortage of fuel. The organization reported that more than 60 percent of their vehicles and equipment were out of service as a result of Israeli attacks and a lack of spare parts. Additionally, they revealed that they were unable to find the necessary fuel for their ambulances and fire trucks.
Despite numerous consultations and meetings with United Nations (UN) organizations, the Civil Defense Organization did not receive the promised fuel supply. They expressed disappointment in international and humanitarian organizations for failing to provide the necessary support for them to fulfill their humanitarian duty.
The ongoing challenges faced by the Civil Defense Organization in Gaza highlight the urgent need for international assistance and support to ensure that they can continue to provide essential services to the community. The organization’s plea for help emphasizes the importance of addressing the critical situation they are currently facing in order to prevent further harm and ensure the safety and well-being of the people in Gaza.
