MHP Announces Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate
The Nationalist Movement Party has announced its Mersin and Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidates for the upcoming local government elections. The party stated that after careful evaluation and approval from party chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, a total of 55 candidates, including 2 Metropolitan, 12 provincial, and 41 Metropolitan District Mayor Candidates, have been finalized for the March 31, 2024 elections.
Serdar Soydan, a prominent figure within the MHP who has previously held important positions in the party, has been selected as the Mersin candidate for the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor position. Soydan has served as the Provincial Chairman of his party in Mersin and is also a member of the MHP Central Executive Board. He was previously nominated as a candidate for parliament from the province and also served as the People’s Alliance’s Mezitli Mayor Candidate.
